The device is designed based on the Volkswagen electronically controlled gasoline engine, which can truly display the appearance and composition of the engine system and the normal operation state of engine starting, idling, acceleration and deceleration. The bench is equipped with automobile dashboard, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge and intake manifold vacuum gauge, which can display the main parameters of the engine, such as fuel system pressure, lubrication system pressure, engine speed and coolant temperature. The training bench can permit students to use the certain tools such as multimeter/oscilloscope/scanner to do the measurement and diagnosis of the related data in order to exercise the students’ finding faults and faults eliminating ability.

Function introduction

1. The real and operable Volkswagen original electronically-controlled gasoline engine fully demonstrates the composition structure and working process of the electronically controlled gasoline engine.

2. The training bench is equipped with automobile dashboard, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge and intake manifold vacuum gauge, which can display the main parameters of the engine, such as fuel system pressure, lubrication system pressure, engine speed and coolant temperature.

3. There are detection terminals installed on the panel of the training bench, and the size of the detection hole is 2mm. On the bench, operators can detect various detectors, executors, electrical signals of engine control unit pins, such as resistance, voltage, current, frequency, and waveform signals.

4. The training bench is equipped with a fault setting box, which can set faults such as open circuit, short circuit and virtual connection for the signal of the sensor and the circuit of the actuator.

5. The training bench is installed with diagnosis socket, which can connect to automobile scanner to read fault codes, clears fault codes, and reads data stream from the engine.

6. The timing belt or chain, intake manifold and exhaust manifold can be disassembled.

7. The training bench is provided with corresponding maintenance manual and circuit diagrams in English.
