FXB WorldSkills Warm-up Event Officially Kicks Off, Supporting Global Skill Talents
On July 6, the 2026 FXB WorldSkills Warm-up Event, featuring module-specific training and hands-on competitions, officially kicked off at the ZTE Hotel Shenzhen. As the host of this event, FXB welcomed WorldSkills competitors and experts from 15 countries and regions to embark on a four-day safety training and practice competition.
This event serves as a pre-competition warm-up and practical drill for the 48th WorldSkills Competition to be held in Shanghai in September 2026. Over the course of four days, competitors and experts will focus on the Automobile Technology skill category, engaging in safety training, module-specific training, and hands-on competitions. The event is fully aligned with WorldSkills standards, with the aim of enhancing competitors' comprehensive technical skills and competitive readiness.
On the first day of the event, the guests visited the FXB Production and R&D Center to learn about its presence in the automotive education resources sector. At the practical training building, they experienced up close intelligent equipment including the L4 autonomous driving training platform and the new energy vehicle three-electric system simulator. All hardware, software, and curricula are independently developed by FXB, with technical concepts.

He wished all guests a rewarding four days of skills, friendship, and quality experiences, and extended his gratitude to Mr. Grant Petch, WorldSkills Automobile Technology Project Manager, and his team, as well as to all competitors and support staff.
Mr. Grant Petch, WorldSkills Automobile Technology Project Manager, extended an official welcome to competitors from all countries on behalf of the organization. He specifically highlighted that FXB, as a WorldSkills Global Partner and the exclusive partner for the Automobile Technology skill category, has provided high-standard equipment and technical support for the event.
