The 2026 FXB EV Safety Training and Skills Competition Awards Gala Concludes Successfully
On the evening of July 9, 2026, the awards ceremony for the 2026 FXB EV Safety Training and Practice Competition was held in Shenzhen, marking a grand and successful conclusion to the event. Guests, experts, competitors, and staff gathered together to bring the competition to a memorable close, filled with a sense of honor and emotion.

At the start of the evening event, Mr. David Wang, President of FXB, took the stage to deliver the opening remarks. He extended a warm welcome to the visiting team of experts, the sponsors, and all the competitors. Mr. David Wang noted that the competition—comprising safety training, modular training, and practical skills contests—fully aligns with WorldSkills standards, aiming to enhance the competitors ' comprehensive skills and competitive performance.

Subsequently, Mr. Grant Petch, WorldSkills Automobile Technology Project Manager, took the stage to deliver an address. He highly commended the competition model for its exemplary role in enhancing the industry's overall safety standards. Mr. Grant Petch noted that, given the increasing complexity of the new energy vehicle supply chain, an approach combining training with practical, real-world scenarios is essential to ensure that key technical personnel can respond both rapidly and correctly to unexpected situations.

Subsequently, the gala extended special, heartfelt gratitude to the competition's technical pillars—Chief Expert Mr. Ali Sarrage and Deputy Chief Expert Martin Restoule.  Mr. David Wang and Mr. Grant Petch jointly presented them with commemorative certificates for their exceptional contributions, drawing thunderous, sustained applause from the audience.

Subsequently, the conference honored three independent experts and the full panel of fifteen experts. Throughout the training sessions, competition entry evaluations, and on-site adjudication, they upheld principles of fairness, rigor, and impartiality, dedicating immense effort to provide every contestant with precise technical feedback and suggestions for improvement. The organizing committee presented them with custom-made certificates of honor, acknowledging their steadfast dedication as "guiding lights behind the scenes."

The gala then reached its climax with the official announcement of the top three prize winners. Following the completion of six practical modules, the recipients of the first, second, and third prizes were determined. Mr. David Wang , Mr. Grant Petch and Mr. Ali Sarrage took the stage together to present medals, certificates of honor, and flowers to the winning competitors.

The awards were not limited to the competitors alone. Special "Interpreter Awards" and "Coach Awards" were introduced to recognize the interpreters and team coaches who played pivotal roles in cross-lingual instruction and the transfer of skills. It was their precise communication and dedicated guidance that broke down language barriers and ensured seamless collaboration among international teams. The organizing committee presented certificates of honor to each of them, acknowledging how their professionalism and patience built bridges of communication.

Finally, all the competitors and their respective coaching teams took the stage first; bathed in the spotlight, they posed for a group photo that embodied the spirit of youth and friendship, capturing the precious bonds forged while striving together. Then, with all guests looking on, Mr. David Wang invited everyone present—experts, coaches, interpreters, competitors , and staff alike—to gather at the center of the stage for a grand group photograph. Amidst the laughter and cheers, the camera captured faces radiant from their hard-fought efforts, creating an unforgettable collective memory of the summer of 2026.

The event concluded in a warm and enthusiastic atmosphere. Although the 2026 FXB EV Safety Training and Practice Competition has ended, the principles it championed—"safety first" and a focus on practical application—will continue to influence every participant. FXB solemnly pledges to continue hosting such high-caliber competitions, consistently supplying the vehicle industry with versatile safety professionals who possess both theoretical knowledge and practical skills.
